2026 Award & Scholarship Recipients

The Short Pump Ruritan Club is a civic organization that is an active group of patriotic, community-minded individuals who have joined together to make a positive impact on our Short Pump Community. Our goal is to make our community better for all citizens by practicing good Fellowship, spreading Goodwill, and performing acts of Community Service.
At our annual June Awards Dinner, we recognize the Businessperson of the Year, Henrico Police Officer of the Year, Sheriff's Deputy of the Year, and Firefighter of the Year. We also award scholarships--in 2026 10 graduating seniors from local high schools each received $1,500 scholarships.
The Club's primary fundraising event is the Short Pump Ruritan Club Charity Golf Tournament which will be held on September 10, 2026 at the Hollows Golf Course.
Proceeds from our annual Bowling Tournament in October are given to Feed More. The 2025 tournament allowed us to give $1,500 to Feed More.
Our monthly membership meeting is at 6:30 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of each month.
