Club Donates to Hurricane Victims
Club Member Bernie Mann filled his SUV with 80 blankets and several hoodie sweatshirts he collected and delivered them to a Ruritan Club in North Carolina to be distributed to hurricane victims. Our club then shipped a dozen Rudy Bears to the same North Carolina club for them to give to children of victims who have lost so much.

The Short Pump Ruritan Club is a civic organization that is an active group of patriotic, community-minded individuals who have joined together to make a positive impact on our Short Pump Community. Our goal is to make our community better for all citizens by practicing good Fellowship, spreading Goodwill, and performing acts of Community Service.
At our June 2024 Awards Dinner, we will again recognize the Businessperson of the Year, Henrico Police Officer of the Year, Sheriff's Deputy of the Year, and Firefighter of the Year. We will also award scholarships to 8 graduating seniors from local high schools.
The Club's primary fundraising event is the Short Pump Ruritan Club Charity Golf Tournament that will be held on September 12, 2024.
Our monthly membership meeting is at 6:30 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of each month.
